Chain & Bar Assembly
During use, the chain will stretch and become dull. Debris and saw dust can also collect underneath
the bar cover. Use the following steps to maintain your pole saw and chain.
• Release chain tension by turning the chain tension screw
(M), located behind the bar and chain, counterclockwise
with the wrench (Q).
• Unscrew the bar cover knob (L).
• Remove the cover.
• The bar (O) and chain (P) can now be removed by lifting
it away from the main body of the saw and releasing the
chain from the sprocket.
• The pole saw can now be cleaned with a brush and/or
rag to remove sawdust and oil.
