23023 – K-KRAKEN-4/8 Operating Instructions and Precautions
Introduction:
This flashlight produces an ultra-bright beam using state of the art LED technology. It is
designed for easy, one handed operation and equipped with a multi-mode switch to
cycle between its 3 brightnees modes and off. Its rugged body is crafted from aircraft
grade aluminum for long lasting durability and reliability in extreme conditions.
Warning!
To prevent serious injury, including temporary or permanent loss of sight, do not stare
into the light, shine light into eyes or focus the beam using an additional lens. Keep
away from infants and toddlers, as this product contains small parts.
This product is not a toy! Use this light only as it is intended. Inspect before every use.
Do not use if parts are damaged, loose or missing.
CAUTION:
Due to high light output, certain areas of this flashlight may become hot while in use.
Avoid touching the area where the “HOT” symbol is visible.
Warning Read Carefully Before 1st Use:
CAUTION: Lithium batteries can explode or cause burns if shorted, overheated,
disassembled, recharged or exposed to fire or high temperature (above 212°). If the
flashlight is turned on while in a container or in clothing, the flashlight can overheat,
damage the flashlight and/or cause surrounding material to ignite.
Battery Charging:
The rechargeable battery inside the flashlight should be fully charged fully before 1st
use. To do so, Hold the head of the flashlight stationary and twist the body
counterclockwise until the charging port is exposed. Connect the full sized USB plug of
the included charging cable to a USB power source such as a power cube, computer or
car adapter and the mini-USB plug into the charging port of the flashlight. A red light
inside the USB port of the flashlight indicates charging in progress. The light turns green
when fully charged. DO NOT USE THE FLASHLIGHT WHILE IT IS CHARGING!
Flashlight Operation:
Repeatedly pressing the power button on the side of the flashlight cycles through the 3
brightness modes and off.
To adjust the beam size, hold the body of the flashlight stationary while twisting the
head clockwise or counterclockwise.
