3. Disconnect the thro le position sensor connector.

4. Disconnect the vent hose from the thro le body.

5. Slide the thro le body off the intake manifold.
Remove Electronic Control Unit (ECU)
1. Remove the two hex fl ange screws securing the
ECU to the bracket. See Figure 8-27.

2. Disconnect the Black and Grey electrical
connectors from the ECU. See Figure 8-28.

Remove Electronic Control Unit Bracket
and Electric Starter Motor
1. Disconnect the leads from the starter.
2. Remove the two hex fl ange screws. See Figure 8-29.
