Belt Tension:
On marine models, the belt should be adjusted so that it can be depressed about’ l/P as
shown in accompanying illustration.
To adjust, remove belt guard, loosen adjusting plate capscrews
then shift plate until proper tension is obtained-
retightening plate at new setting then replace belt
guard.
