KOLDWAVE Portable Air Condioners feature spot cooling for large

areas where cooling of the enre area is not praccal. A dedicated

spot cooling thermostat controls the unit in this applicaon. These

air condioners can also be used in smaller areas for room cooling.

A control panel provides ease of use and contains a self-diagnosc

funcon and display, showing operang modes, room and set

temperatures, and faults. If an abnormal operaon occurs, a visual

display of the fault is shown. Caster wheels are included for easy

portability. Suitable applicaons include: a factory or work place,

industrial kitchen, computer room, emergency cooling, etc.

Aer unpacking the unit, carefully inspect unit for any damage that may have occurred during

transit. Check for any loose, missing, or damaged parts.

Usage Features

The Koldwave Portable Air Conditioner is designed for user convenience and safety.

Portability: Equipped with casters, the unit can be easily moved and positioned. The side handles facilitate lifting and setting the caster brakes.
Control Panel: The control panel features several buttons for operation:
- POWER BUTTON: Activates the unit and controls fan speed (low to high).
- BLOWER BUTTON: Changes fan speed from low to high.
- SPOT/COOL BUTTON: Activates the compressor and produces cool air.
- ROOM/COOL BUTTON: Activates the compressor and produces cool air, regulating temperature based on inlet ambient air.
- SET TEMP BUTTONS: Changes target temperature/data value by +/- 1 or 10.
- ALARM BUTTON: Indicates abnormal system operation with blinking lights.
- CURRENT TEMP: Displays current room temperature in Fahrenheit.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is crucial for the optimal performance and longevity of the Koldwave Portable Air Conditioner.

Filter Cleaning: The unit has three filters: the evaporator filter and two condenser filters.
1. Loosen two bolts on the front filter guard.
2. Slide the filter up and use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust.
3. If the filter is heavily soiled, wash it with mild soap and neutral detergent.
4. Dry the filter in a shaded area before replacing it.
5. Replace the clean filter and close the filter guard.
6. Clean the condenser filters from the middle bar and angle the filters outwards from the bottom and remove.
7. Use the same cleaning procedure as above (steps 3-5).
8. To replace the condenser filter, place the top of the filter in the guide and slide the filter up until the bottom of the filter clears the frame. Then push the bottom of the filter into the guide and let the filter gently fall inside the guide.
Condensate Management: The unit has a drain pump installed to manage condensate.
Troubleshooting Chart: The manual provides a comprehensive troubleshooting chart to help diagnose and resolve common issues such as water leakage, the unit not working, no cold air flows, and water flow after compressor shuts off.
