Connections and settings via USB to Host
1. In case you will connect the computer and the Pa800 via the USB port, install the Korg
USB MIDI Driver, as explained in the User's Manual of your instrument.
2. Connect the Pa800 and the computer either via the USB Device port, or via the MIDI ports
and a MIDI interface, as shown in the following diagram.
5. Go to “MIDI Setup” . Select the External Sequencer Setup.

Press SEQUENCER to go to the Sequencer mode. Go to the
“Preferences: Sequencer Setup” page. Select the “Extern.Seq.” MIDI
Setup.
PA900, PA600 Select the “Extern.Seq.” MIDI Preset. You can do this by going to the
“MIDI: General Controls” page of the Global mode.
PA1X Press SEQUENCER to go to the Sequencer mode. Go to the
“Preferences: Global Setup” page. Select the “Extern.Seq.” MIDI
Setup.
Note!
External Sequencer - this setting is for programming a Song on an external sequencer
(MidiWorks PA+).
