The TURBO function makes the unit work extra hard to reach your present temperature in the shortest amount of time
possible. When you press the TURBO button in COOL mode, the unit will blow cool air with strongest wind setting to
jump-start the cooling process. When you press the TURBO button in HEAT mode, for units with Electric heat elements,
the Electric Heater will activate and jump-start the heating process.
SHORTCUT FUNCTION
Used to restore the current settings or resume previous settings.
Push this button when remote controller is on, the system will automatically revert back to the previous settings
including operating mode, setting temperature, fan speed level and sleep feature (if activated).
If pushing more than 2 seconds, the system will automatically restore the current operation settings including operating
mode, setting temperature, fan speed level and sleep feature (if activated).
SWING FUNCTION
Swing button. Used to stop or start horizontal louver auto swing feature.
Direct button. Used to set the desired up/down air ow direction. The louver changes 6 degree in angle for each press.
SELF CLEAN FUNCTION
Airborne bacteria can grow in the moisture that condenses around heat exchangers in the unit. With regular use, most
of this moisture is evaporated from the unit. By pressing the SELF CLEAN button, your unit will clean itself automatically.
After that, the unit will turn o automatically. Pressing the SELF CLEAN button mid-cycle will cancel the operation and
turn o the unit.
You can use SELF CLEAN as often as you like.
Note! You can only activate this function.in COOL or DRY mode.
FOLLOW ME FUNCTION
Used to enter the energy ecient mode. Under cooling mode, press this button, the remote controller will adjust the
temperature automatically to 24C, fan speed of Auto to save energy(but only if the set temperature is less than 24C).
If the set temperature is above 24C , press the ECO button, the fan speed will change to Auto, the set temperature will
remain unchanged.
Note! Pressing the ECO button, or modifying the mode or adjusting the set temperature to less than 24OC will stop ECO
operation. Under ECO operation, the set temperature should be 24OC or more. it may result in insucient cooling. If you feel
uncomfortable, just press the ECO button again to stop it.

SETTING VERTICAL ANGLE OF AIR FLOW
While the unit is on, use the SWING/DIRECT button on remote control
to set the direction (vertical angle) of airow. Please refer to the Remote
Control Manual for details.
NOTE ON LOUVER ANGLES
When using COOL or DRY mode, do not set louver at too vertical an
angle for long periods of time. This can cause water to condense on the
louver blade, which will drop on your oor or furnishings. When using
COOL or HEAT mode, setting the louver at too vertical an angle can reduce
the performance of the unit due to restricted air ow.
SETTING HORIZONTAL ANGLE OF AIR FLOW
The horizontal angle of the airow must be set manually. Grip the
deector rod and manually adjust it to your preferred direction. For some
units, the horizontal angle of the airow can be set by remote control.
