22 Use and maintenance / SERIE EA 80xx
Place a recipient or a cappuccino cup un-
derneath the special nozzle and press the
Steam button.
The blue indicator light flashes: the ap-
pliance is preheating. The indicator light
then remains lit, which means that prehea-
ting is complete.
Press the Steam button again.
Frothed milk comes out of the special noz-
zle.
You can stop the steam production at any
time by pressing the Steam button.
Important: the production of steam does
not stop immediately after pressing the
Steam button. Press the button early en-
ough to avoid overflows

Remove the cappuccino cup and place it
underneath coffee outlet.
Add an espresso following the instruc-
tions described in point 4.2.
Remove the cup and add a little sugar or
chocolate shavings to your taste.
Note : To prepare a caffe latte, turn the
central section of the special nozzle 180°
(see above).

We recommend cleaning the special noz-
zle immediately after every use to avoid
milk drying inside.
Remove the nozzle (see illustration) and
clean the parts with a small brush and
washing up liquid if required.
If required, unblock the small opening (cir-
cled on the illustration) with the cleaning
wire (supplied with your machine).
