Problem
Probable causes Corrective actions
A power cut occurs
during the cycle.
The appliance is automatically
reinitialised when it is switched
back on.
There is water un-
derneath the ap-
pliance.
The drip tray (27) is not correctly fit-
ted or is overflowing.
Check that the drip tray has
been fitted correctly and empty it
if required.
The four indicator
lights flash conti-
nuously.
Programme error.
Unplug the appliance for 20
seconds, remove the Claris car-
tridge if fitted then switch on
again.
If the problem persists, note the
number which appears on the di-
gital display (21) and contact the
KRUPS Customer service.
Tip: Programming problems are often resolved by unplugging the appliance for
about one minute and then plugging it in again.
Caution: Do not carry out any work yourself on the appliance.
