Problems, possible causes and remedies

■ The cups are too cold
■ Too little coffee-meal has
been used

container is empty
■ Unsuitable milk, either
too old, wrong fat
content or too warm
■ Steam nozzle is blocked
■ Air suction hole in the
frothing aid is blocked
■ Some foreign body in the
grinder
■ Electricity supply failure
or the mains plug not

produced
■ Pre-warm the cups with
hot water
■ Use the correct quantity
of coffee-meal
■ Add further coffee-beans
■ Use different milk
■ Clean the steam nozzle
■ Clean the frothing aid
■ Let the KRUPS service
unit examine the
appliance
■ Continue using the
appliance, but only with
pre-ground coffee
■ Insert mains plug and
insert only the drawer
and attachment.
Then switch on the
