The length of the guarantee depends on the legislation in your country
with a maximum of 3000 cycles a year. This product has been designed
for domestic use only. Any commercial use, inappropriate use or failure
to comply with the instructions, the manufacturer accepts no
responsibility and the guarantee will not apply.
The guarantee does not apply to damage and faults resulting from careless
use, repair by unauthorised persons as well as non-observance of the
instructions for use. The guarantee will be invalidated if any operation and
maintenance instructions of Krups have not been observed or if cleaning or
de-scaling agents are used which do not comply with the specifications
mentioned in this instruction for use leaflet or failure to use the Claris water
filter in accordance with Krups instructions. Abnormal wear and tear of
parts (grinding disks, valves, seals) is exempted from the guarantee, as
well as damages caused by foreign objects in the grinding mill (e.g. wood,
stones, plastic parts etc.).
