• Before using for the first time, or after not having used for a considerable time, rinse the appliance as
indicated below.
Check that the appliance is unplugged.

Unscrew the boiler cap.

Pour 8 oz (240 ml) of cold water. Do not use warm or hot water into the
water tank.
I
Screw the boiler cap on tightly.
I
Fit the filter (without any coffee) into the filter-holder and rotate filter
inside filter-holder to secure it.
