Why is my KTM Motorcycle engine overheating?
- LLisa GarciaJul 29, 2025
If your KTM Motorcycle engine overheats, several factors could be the cause. It could be due to too little coolant in the cooling system, so check for leakage and the coolant level. Insufficient airflow can also cause overheating, so switch off the engine when stationary. Other potential causes include dirty radiator fins (clean them), foam formation in the cooling system (drain and refill the coolant), a damaged cylinder head or cylinder head gasket (check them), or a bent radiator hose (replace it).
