– Unlock the steering. ( p. 34)
– Sit on the vehicle, take the weight off of the side stand, and
move it all the way up with your foot.
– Turn the emergency OFF switch to the position .
– Switch on the ignition by turning the ignition key to the posi-
tion .
After you switch on the ignition, you can hear the fuel
pump working for about two seconds. The function check
of the combination instrument is run at the same time.
– Shift the transmission into neutral.
The green idle indicator lamp N lights up.
The ABS warning light lights up and goes out again after
starting off.
– Press start button .
