What to do if my KTM 450 XC-F engine turns but does not start?

If your engine turns but doesn't start, possible causes include: the fuel hose connection not joined (join the fuel hose connection), an incorrectly set idle speed (adjust the idle speed), an oily or wet spark plug (clean and dry the spark plug, or replace it), a spark plug gap that is too wide (adjust the plug gap to 0.9 mm), a short circuit cable in the frayed wiring harness or a defective kill switch (check the wiring harness and electrical system), or a defect in the fuel injection system (read out the fault memory using the KTM diagnostics tool).

Your KTM Motorcycle engine may be overheating because there is too little coolant in the cooling system (check the cooling system for leakage and the coolant level), too little air stream (switch off the engine when standing), radiator fins are very dirty (clean radiator fins), foam formation in cooling system (drain and refill the coolant), or a bent radiator hose (change the radiator hose).
