Skid Shoe Adjustment
Refer to Figure 2-1:
1. Remove hex flange locknuts (#4) and hex head cap
screws (#3).
2. Move skid shoe (#2) up or down to preferred height.
3. Reinsert 1/2"-13 x 1 1/2" GR5 cap screws (#3) and
secure with hex flange locknuts (#4).
4. Tighten hex flange locknuts (#4) to the correct torque.
5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 for the right-hand side.
IMPORTANT: Make sure skid shoes are firmly
planted on the ground before operating Stump
Grinder. This will help minimize vibration and help
protect against structural damage to the unit.
