Why is my Kubota BX25DLB engine difficult to start?
    • M
      Michael Miller DDSJul 29, 2025
If your Kubota Tractor engine is difficult to start or won't start, several factors could be at play. It might be due to no fuel flow, so check the fuel tank and fuel filter, replacing the filter if needed. Air or water in the fuel system could also be the culprit; ensure the fuel line coupler bolt and nut are tight. In cold weather, the oil viscosity may increase, slowing the engine revolution; consider using oils of different viscosities or an engine block heater. A weak battery can also prevent the engine from turning over quickly enough; clean the battery cables and terminals, charge the battery, or, in cold weather, remove the battery, charge it, and store it indoors until use.

What to do if Kubota Tractor engine overheats?
    • Y
      youngericAug 5, 2025
If your Kubota Tractor engine overheats, it could be due to several reasons. The engine might be overloaded, in which case you should shift to a lower gear or reduce the load. A low coolant level could also be the cause, so fill the cooling system to the correct level and check for leaks. Other potential issues include a loose or defective fan belt (adjust or replace it), a dirty radiator core or grille screens (remove any trash), or a corroded coolant flow route (flush the cooling system).

Why are the exhaust fumes colored on my Kubota BX25DLB Tractor?
    • S
      sharonjonesAug 12, 2025
If you notice colored exhaust fumes from your Kubota Tractor, the cause varies with the color. Black fumes suggest poor fuel quality, too much oil, or a clogged air cleaner; change the fuel and filter, check the oil level, and clean or replace the air cleaner element. Blue-white fumes may indicate a damp exhaust muffler, injection nozzle trouble, or poor fuel quality; heat the muffler by applying a load to the engine, check the injection nozzle, and change the fuel and filter.

How to fix insufficient engine power on Kubota BX25DLB?
    • C
      Christian DouglasAug 20, 2025
If your Kubota Tractor engine has insufficient power, it could be due to insufficient or dirty fuel, or a clogged air cleaner. Check the fuel system and clean or replace the air cleaner element.
