Why is my Kubota BX2680 Tractor engine difficult to start?
    • A
      angeladanielAug 9, 2025
If your Kubota Tractor engine is difficult to start, several factors could be at play. First, check for fuel flow by inspecting the fuel tank and filter, replacing the filter if needed. Air or water in the fuel system can also cause this issue; ensure the fuel line coupler bolt and nut are tight, bleed the fuel system, and remove any water, replacing the fuel filter. In cold weather, thick oil can hinder engine turnover, so use a lower viscosity oil or consider an engine block heater. Lastly, a weak battery can be the culprit; clean the battery cables and terminals, charge the battery, and in cold weather, store the battery indoors, installing it only when the tractor is in use.

Why is my Kubota BX2680 engine overheating?
    • M
      mcgeekimAug 16, 2025
If your Kubota Tractor engine is overheating, it could be due to several reasons. The engine might be overloaded, so try shifting to a lower gear or reducing the load. Check the coolant level and fill the cooling system if it's low, also inspect the radiator and hoses for leaks. A loose or damaged fan belt can also cause overheating, so adjust or replace it as necessary. Make sure the radiator core or grille screens are free from debris. Finally, a corroded coolant flow route can cause overheating, so flush the cooling system.

Why does my Kubota BX2680 Tractor have insufficient engine power?
    • E
      Eugene DixonAug 23, 2025
If your Kubota Tractor has insufficient engine power, it might be due to insufficient or dirty fuel, so check the fuel system. Another possible cause is a clogged air cleaner, so clean or replace the air cleaner element.
  • M
    Marcus Martin MDAug 31, 2025
Why are the exhaust fumes colored on my Kubota Tractor?
    • M
      Michael ThompsonSep 1, 2025
Colored exhaust fumes from your Kubota Tractor can stem from several issues. Poor fuel quality can be a factor, so change the fuel and the fuel filter. Too much oil can also cause this, so check that the oil level is correct. A clogged air cleaner might be the problem, so clean or replace it. If the exhaust muffler is damp from fuel, heat it by applying a load to the engine. Lastly, there could be an issue with the injection nozzle, so it should be checked.
