8. CAUTIONS AGAINST BURNS & BATTERY EXPLOSION

hot components, e.g. muffler. muffler
cover. radiator, hoses. engine body, coolant

operation and after the engine has been shut off

NOT remove the radiator cap while the engine

to
close the coolant dram valve. secure the pressure cap, and
fasten the pipe band before operating

9. KEEP HANDS AND BODY AWAY FROM ROTATING PARTS
• Be sure to stop the engine before checking

adjusting the belt tension
and cooling fan
• Keep your hands and body away from rotating parts. such as the cooling
fan, V-belt. fan drive V-belt. pulley
or
flywheel. Contact with rotating
parts can cause severe personal injury
• DO NOT run the engine without safety guards Install safety guards
securely before operation
