Usage Features
The ice maker is designed for user-friendly operation with a control panel that includes an ON/OFF switch button and a Clean function button. Indicator lights provide visual cues for "ICE FULL" (ice full alarm), "ADD WATER" (water shortage alarm), and "ICE MAKING" (ice making status).
Initial Setup:
- After positioning the appliance, wait at least 2 hours with the transparent lid open before first use.
- Ensure the voltage matches the rating label and the socket is properly earthed.
- Remove all packing materials and inspect the unit for damage.
- Place the machine on a level surface, ensuring at least 150 mm clearance from walls and heat sources for proper ventilation.
- Distilled water is not allowed; spring water or mineral water is recommended.
Operation Steps:
- Open the lid, remove the ice basket, and add water to the reservoir, ensuring it does not exceed the MAX line.
- Plug in the power. The "ICE MAKING" indicator will flash, and the machine will initiate a deicing function.
- Press the ON/OFF button to start ice production. The "ICE MAKING" indicator will remain steadily lit.
- Once ice making is complete, the machine will automatically deice and then enter the ice shoveling function.
- If the "ADD WATER" light turns red, it indicates a water shortage. Add water and press ON/OFF to restart.
- If the "ICE FULL" light flashes, the ice storage container is at maximum capacity. Remove ice to resume operation.
Ice Production Notes:
- The first three cycles may produce small and irregular ice.
- When the indoor temperature is below 15 degrees Celsius, small ice is recommended.
- When the indoor temperature is above 30 degrees Celsius, big ice is recommended.
- Always remove ice promptly when the basket is full to prevent overflow.
Safety Precautions:
- Do not tilt the machine more than 45 degrees or reverse it during transportation to avoid compressor and sealing system damage.
- Do not pour water on the cord, plug, or ventilation openings, and do not immerse the appliance in water.
- Unplug the appliance after use or before cleaning.
- Avoid frequent switching on/off (allow at least a 5-minute interval) to protect the compressor.
- Do not insert metal sheets or other electric objects into the appliance.
- Do not use outdoors.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities unless supervised. Children aged 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload refrigerating appliances under supervision.
- Do not store explosive substances (e.g., aerosol cans with flammable propellant) in the appliance.
- Ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged when positioning the appliance.
- Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or power supplies at the rear of the appliance.
- The refrigerant (R600a) and insulation blowing gas are flammable. Dispose of the appliance at an authorized waste disposal center and do not expose it to flame.
Maintenance Features
Cleaning:
- Regularly clean the inner liner, ice collecting tray, water box, ice shovel, and evaporator.
- Unplug the unit and remove ice cubes before cleaning.
- Use a diluted solution of water and vinegar to clean the inside and outside surfaces. Do not spray with chemicals. Rinse thoroughly.
- The "Clean" function can be activated by pressing the "Clean" button after plugging in the power. The cleaning duration is 150 seconds, after which the product enters standby mode. Do not disconnect power during cleaning.
- Change water in the reservoir daily to ensure ice cleanness. If not used for a long time, drain the water and clean the unit.
Troubleshooting:
- Power Failure/Ice Jam: If a power failure occurs or the power button is pressed off during ice making, small ice chips may jam the automatic shovel. Disconnect power, gently push the shovel to the rear, remove ice chips, then restart.
- Ice Shovel Malfunction: If the ice shovel cannot remove ice, check if the water reservoir is flat. Gently push the ice shovel with a finger, then press ON/OFF to restart.
- Compressor Abnormal Noise: If the voltage is lower than recommended, stop the ice maker until the voltage is normal.
- "ADD WATER" Indicator On: This indicates no water or air in the pump. Add water to the MAX position and press ON/OFF to restart.
- No Indicator Lights: Check for a blown fuse or power outage. Replace the fuse or turn on the power.
- Large/Sticking Ice: Previous ice cycles may be left in the water tray. Remove the ice.
- No Ice Production (correct process): This could be due to no refrigerant, a damaged compressor, or a damaged fan motor. Contact after-sales service.
- All Indicators Twinkle Simultaneously: The water tray may be blocked by ice, the motor may be stuck/damaged, or the micro switch may be destroyed. Unplug, remove the blocking ice, then plug in and press ON/OFF to restart after 3 minutes.
- Water Warming (machine working): The solenoid may be broken. Replace the solenoid valve.
- "ICE FULL" Icon Not Displayed (ice full): The ice full sensor may be damaged, or there might be sunlight interference. Replace the sensor or make ice indoors.
Disposal:
This product should not be disposed of with other household waste in the EU. It should be recycled responsibly through return and collection systems or by contacting the retailer to promote sustainable reuse of material resources and ensure environmentally safe recycling.
