Single Buttons
Voices!Select the Voices button, then press the Next or Previous button to sequentially step
through the 88 available voices. Each voice is assigned to a key on the keyboard (A0?C8). To
directly access a voice, press and hold the Voice button then press and release its assigned key.
For a complete list of the 88 available voices and their corresponding keys, consult the CUP2
UserIs Manual.
Piano!Select the Piano button to immediately access Grand Piano voice.
Layer!Press the Layer button to layer a second voice over the currently selected voice. Use the
Next or Previous button to select the second voice; or press and hold the Layer button, then
press and release the voiceIs assigned key. You can also adjust the volume, change the
transposition of the layered voices, and save the layered keyboard and adjusted voices.
Split!Press the Split button to split the keyboard into two sections. Select the rst voice then
press the Split button and select the second voice. Use the Next or Previous button to select the
second voice; or press and hold the Split button, then press and release the voiceIs assigned
key. You can also adjust the volume, change the transposition of the split keyboard, change the
split point (default split point is between B3 and C4), and save the split keyboard and adjusted
voices.
Favorite 1, Favorite 2, or Favorite 3!Use these buttons to save or recall user modied voices
and split keyboards. Depending on the mode, these buttons also have special functions
(Volume, Split Point, and Tempo) that are applicable when layering voices, creating split
keyboards, using the metronome or playing a rhythm pattern.
Rhythm button!Select the Rhythm button, then press the Play/Stop button. Use the Next or
Previous button to sequentially step through the 78 available rhythm patterns. Each rhythm
pattern is assigned to a key on the keyboard (A0?D7). To directly access a rhythm pattern,
press and hold the Rhythm button then press and release its assigned key. For a complete list
of the 78 available rhythm patterns and their corresponding keys, consult the CUP2 UserIs
Manual.
