Filling the water tank
To operate the machine the water tank must rst be lled.
Warning: To ll the tank, always use fresh drinking water only. Hot or sparkling water
can damage the machine. Before starng the machine, always check that there is
enough water in it.
• Remove the tank from the machine.
• Fill the tank with fresh drinking water.
• Insert the full tank in the machine and then insert the tube inside the tank. Check that the hose is NOT compressed and
that the water does not overow from the tank.
• Close the door.
USING THE MACHINE
Start up
To turn the machine on do the following:
• Press the ON/OFF buon. The coee temperature light on the front of the machine turns on. In this phase the machine is
heang up.
• Immediately press the brewing buon. This procedure lls the water circuit.
• Aer 30 seconds press the brewing buon again to complete the circuit lling phase.
• Wait for the machine temperature light to turn o. At this point the machine is ready for brewing.
Coffee brewing
The machine works only with compable pods. Do NOT use pods other than those
recommended. Each pod can be used to brew one coee. Do not reuse previously used
pods.
Warning: The area in which the pods are inserted is near the boiler. DO NOT put
ngers inside the compartment. Danger of burns!
- Raise the pod holder by liing the lever upwards.
- Insert the pod into the pod holder perfectly centered in the lter.
