- Pull the lever downwards rmly to close the pod holder.
- Turn on the main switch.
- Wait for the coee temperature light to turn o.
- Press the brewing switch. Once the desired quanty is reached, press the switch again to stop brewing.
- Once brewed, li the lever up and immediately throw away the used pod. The machine is now ready to make another coee.
CAPPUCCINO PREPARATION
- Turn on the steam pump switch.
- Wait for the steam temperature light to turn o.
- Immerse the steam wand in the cup.
- Press the brewing switch. Once the desired quanty is reached, press the switch again to stop brewing.
- Wait a few moments before removing the cup.
MAINTENANCE
- Before carrying out any maintenance operaon, make sure that the power plug is disconnected from the socket and let the
machine cool down.
- To rell the water tank, make sure that the machine brewing switch and the main switch are o, disconnect the power supply
cable and ll the tank (Fig. 1).
- If the machine, aer having pressed the brewing switch (Fig. 3) does not brew anything, switch o the brewing switch, switch
o the machine, disconnect the power cord and check the water level in the tank.
- Thoroughly clean the machine at the end of each use without using solvents, alcohol, petrol or anything else that could damage
the surface of the appliance.
- The machine is equipped with a lter for the sucon of water from the tank. It is recommended that this lter be replaced at
least once a year.
- The machine is equipped with a tray to collect any drips located under the support surface for the cups. Clean the tray aer each
use.
- If the machine is not used for long periods, empty the water tank.
- If the machine has not been used for long periods of me, before using it, prepare a coee to be disposed of and run a hot
water cycle to clean the internal circuits.
- Periodically check the condion of the power supply cable. If it is damaged, do not use the machine and contact the aer -sales
service.
- Perform periodic descaling/disinfecon. To carry out this simple operaon to perfecon (see secon DISINFECTION AND
DESCALING) we recommend using the professional “La Piccola” descaler.
