Remove 20mm of outer plastic, split and twist the shield braiding into two tails.
Remove metal foil, trim insulator to 2-3mm from exposed cable, avoiding the inner cable.
Twist tails around the outer insulator in a 'helter-skelter' formation, ensuring no loose braids.
Tighten connector onto braiding/insulator, check for shorts, and align inner insulator.
Trim excess braiding, tape, and waterproof with grease for outdoor use.
Control centrally located equipment via coaxial cable using tvLINK or HandyLink.
Place HandyLink box at main location before connecting back to the Up-Link.
Connect IR sensors to TV wall outlet before any other equipment.
Must use non-isolated outlets for IR control functionality.
Run cable feed directly to the decoder for distribution, similar to Sky.
Use HandyLink IR for control when distributing Cable TV.
Set unit switch to UHF & CCTV for TV pictures to remote locations.
