AATCC M6D Drying Machine Operation Instruction Version 2.0 Date: August 31, 2020.
HINTS:
Make sure the lint filter is always clean.
Do not overload the dryer.
Dry multiple loads of clothes one right after another so dryer interior does not
have to be reheated for each load.
The directions for installation and proper exhausting are given in the installation
instructions which are included with the dryer.
Do not wash ot dry clothes that shed lint in the same load with permanent press
or knit garments.
Do not overload your dryer. Bulk, not weight, determines the load size. If the
dryer is overloaded, it could cause discoloration or permanent heat damage to
the load.
There should be space in the dryer for the clothes to tumble freely and help to
reduce wrinkles.
That lint shall not to be allowed to accumulate around the appliance (not
applicable for appliances intended to be vented to the exterior of the building);
That adequate ventilation has to be provided to avoid the back flow of gases into
the room from appliances burning other fuels, including open fires.
Maximum mass of dry textile material in kilograms to be used in the appliance:
8kg
Do not dry unwashed items in the appliance.
Items that have been soiled with substances such as cooking oil, acetone,
alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes and wax removers
should be washed in hot water with an extra amount of detergent before being
dried in the appliance;
Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber
backed articles and clothes or pillows fitted with foam rubber pads should not be
dried in the appliance
