  If your Land Pride Lawn Mower is causing the tractor to bog down, ensure you are mowing at the tractor's rated PTO RPM (540 PTO RPM). Also, shift to a lower gear if your ground speed is too fast. If the grass is too wet or tall, wait until it dries or raise the mower's cutting height and cut the grass twice. Clean any debris wrapped around the mower spindles or blades. If the tractor PTO horsepower rating is too low, raise the cutting height, shift to a lower gear, or use a tractor with more horsepower. Consider changing to lower lift blades if they will cut the grass satisfactorily.

If your ground speed is too fast, shift the transmission to a lower gear. Check if the blade is damaged or dull, and sharpen and balance or replace it if necessary. Ensure correct belt tension, and if the blade rotation is wrong, install the correct rotation blade.
