What to do if my Land Pride Lawn Mower is loading down the tractor?
    • S
      Sheila BradfordAug 4, 2025
If your Land Pride Lawn Mower is causing the tractor to bog down, ensure you are mowing at the tractor's rated PTO RPM (540 PTO RPM). Also, shift to a lower gear if your ground speed is too fast. If the grass is too wet or tall, wait until it dries or raise the mower's cutting height and cut the grass twice. Clean any debris wrapped around the mower spindles or blades. If the tractor PTO horsepower rating is too low, raise the cutting height, shift to a lower gear, or use a tractor with more horsepower. Consider changing to lower lift blades if they will cut the grass satisfactorily.

Why does my Land Pride Lawn Mower leave patches of uncut grass?
    • J
      jharveyAug 9, 2025
If you notice patches of uncut grass while using your Land Pride Lawn Mower, try mowing at full throttle (540 power take-off rpm) and check the power take-off speed and tractor engine. If your ground speed is too fast, shift the transmission to a lower gear. Check if the blade is damaged or dull, and sharpen and balance or replace it if necessary. Ensure correct belt tension, and if the blade rotation is wrong, install the correct rotation blade.

Why is my Land Pride Lawn Mower vibrating excessively?
    • J
      jenniferjordanAug 19, 2025
To address excessive vibration in your Land Pride Lawn Mower, replace any bent drivelines and replace any broken or bent blades. Inspect for incorrectly located needles or damaged bearing caps. Remove the belt guard shield and clean debris from the belt area and sheaves. Replace or align damaged or misaligned sheaves. Replace a damaged drive belt, checking for belt contact with the deck component. Remove belt guard shields and clean debris from the belt area and sheaves if there is inadequate clearance between belt guard shields and the belt.

    • M
      mary50Aug 25, 2025
