• Position the lid (1) on the re bowl (13) so that both
lid hinges (3) interlock with the re bowl hinges (11).
•
• Insert one bolt (25) through each drill hole on the lid
and re bowl hinges.
•
• Secure both bolts (25) by inserting the straight shaft
of the spring split pin (26) through the hole at the end
of the bolt. Ensure that it is securely in place.
• Carefully and slowly open and close the lid.
• If you detect some resistance, do not force the lid as
this could damage the hinges. The cause of the re-
sistance should be remedied immediately.

• Insert the mounting plate for the fat catching tray (32)
from above through the small, oval opening in the re
bowl (13).
The bent clip on the mounting plate must be positi-
oned centrally underneath the small, round opening
in the re bowl (13).
• Hook the fat catching tray (15) into the holder from
underneath.
• Place the lava rock rack (9) in the re bowl (13).
• Spread the lava rocks (4) in a single layer on the lava
rock rack (6).
• This should cover approximately 80% of the surface
area. You must still be able to see a gas ame on the
burner.
• Place the grill (8) in the re bowl (13).
