  Flare-ups are often caused by excessive fat from the meat you're grilling, so trim the fat before cooking. Also, make sure your Landmann Grill is clean. Dry off any wet electrodes with a dry cloth. Clean any debris blocking the electrodes with rubbing alcohol. If there's no spark at the igniter tip, replace the igniter. Finally, clear any obstructions like grease or insects from the ignition tube.

Why is my Landmann Grill not getting hot enough?

  If your Landmann Grill doesn't get hot enough, it might be due to a low LP cylinder gas level; try replacing or refilling the cylinder. Another possibility is that the gas flow limiting device has been activated. To resolve this, turn OFF the control knobs and LP cylinder valve, disconnect the regulator from the LP cylinder, inspect and clean the LP cylinder fitting and regulator connector, wait one minute, reconnect the regulator, perform a leak test, and then light the grill following the exact lighting procedure.

  If the flame on your Landmann Grill is low, irregular, or noisy, first check if the LP cylinder gas level is low and replace the LP cylinder if needed. If that's not the issue, disconnect the LP hose regulator from the LP tank, reconnect it, and then follow the lighting procedure exactly as listed. Also, check and clean the burner ports if only one burner is affected. Make sure the gas supply hose isn't bent or kinked, and if it is, straighten it out. If it's windy, wait until the wind subsides. Finally, clean the burner air inlets of any obstructions.
