How to fix low, irregular or noisy flame on Landmann Avalon?

  A low, irregular, or noisy flame on your Landmann Grill can be due to several factors. The LP cylinder gas level might be low, so replace the propane cylinder. It could also be due to an improper lighting procedure; disconnect the LP hose regulator from the LP tank, reconnect it, and then follow the lighting procedure exactly as listed. Clogged burner ports may also be the cause; if only one burner is affected, check and clean those burner ports. A bent or kinked gas supply hose can also cause this issue, so straighten it out. The grill might be in a windy area, so wait until the wind subsides. Lastly, obstructions like grease debris or insects in the air inlets can cause this, so clean the burner air inlets.

  If the gas flow limiting device may have been activated, turn OFF Control Knobs & LP Cylinder valve. Disconnect regulator from LP Cylinder. Inspect & clean LP Cylinder fitting and regulator connector. Wait 1 minute. Reconnect regulator and perform leak test. Light grill following exact lighting procedure.

To resolve this, turn OFF the Control Knobs & LP Cylinder valve, disconnect the regulator from the LP Cylinder, inspect & clean the LP Cylinder fitting and regulator connector, wait 1 minute, reconnect the regulator, perform a leak test, and then light the grill following the exact lighting procedure.

Flare-ups are often caused by excessive fat from the meat, so trim the fat before grilling. Ensure the grill is clean. The cooking temperature might be too high, so keep the flame low or turn off one burner. Keeping the lid up while grilling also helps to avoid flare-ups. If food is overcooked or burnt, move it to another area of the grill until flames subside. Finally, clean the firebox, grease tray, and grease cup if they are full of grease.
