COLD WEATHER START KIT
The cold-weather start kit allows the engine to pump the hydraulic fluid through the re-
circulating loop until the engine has warmed up.
To operate the cold-weather start
kit:
1. Turn the bypass valve to the open
position. (This photo shows the
closed position.)
2. Start the Honda engine. Allow
the engine to warm up for 5
minutes.
3. SLOWLY close the bypass valve
before operating your trailer.
Closing the valve too quickly can
stall the engine.
4. Allow the hydraulic system to
warm up for 3 to 5 minutes.
