Preparation of the water tank
• Turnthekeyandopenthetankdoor(1);
• extractthetankfromitshousing;
• carefullywashthetankwithlukewarmwater;
• installthenewlter(A);
• llthetankwithpotablewater;
• properlyinsertthetankintotheseatandclose
thedoorwiththekey.
Forsubsequentfillingwithwater,itisnot
necessarytoremovethetankfromitsseat;
Coee delivery
• Putthecoffeecupunderthedispensing
spout;
• lifttheleveroftheunit(2)andinserta
LAVAZZABLUEpod;
• lowertheleveroftheunit;
• pressthedesireddosebutton(e.g.
):
andwaitforcoeetobedelivered(theLED
comeson);
• tostopthedeliveryofcoffeeinadvance,
pressthedeliverybuttonagain(e.g.
)

Incaseofuseofsmallcups,thecupraising
grilleisavailable(14).
Dispensing hot water
• Placethejugunderthehotwaternozzle(7);
• turnthetapknob(4)counterclockwise:the
hotwatercomingoutwillbeproportionalto
theopeningofthetap;
• tointerruptthesteamdispensingturnthe
knobcounter-clockwise(4).
Steam dispensing
• Immergethesteamnozzle(8)intheliquid
tobeheated;
• turnthetapknob(3)counterclockwise:the
hotsteamcomingoutwillbeproportionalto
theopeningofthetap;
• tointerruptthesteamdispensingturnthe
knobcounter-clockwise(3).
Foroptimalfoaming,itisrecommendedto
observethefollowingsimplerules:
• Heatonlytheamountofmilkthatyouintend
touse(DONOTusealreadyheatedmilk
severaltimes);
• themilktobefoamedmusthaveastarting
temperatureof4°C.
Start-up
• Connectthemachinetothepowersupplyby
puggingthepowercord;
• TurntheswitchON(9);
• theautomaticllingofwaterintheboilerand
thedispenserunitheatingareactivatedwhen
themachineisswitchedon;
• whenthefillingofwaterintheboilerhas
finishedtheservicesboilerheatingphase
starts,indicatedbythesequentialashingof
theLEDsofthekeys;
• waitforthecoffeemachinetowarmup
completely,indicatedbythelightingofthe
LEDs(5).
• positionalargepitcherunderthespout;
• liftandlowertheleveroftheunit;
• afterdispensing5times,therstwashingstagewillend,theLEDofbutton(6)
keepsashing;
• checkthattheunitleverisclosed,
thenpressbutton(6)againwithin
10secondstostarttheprocess,the
correspondingLEDashes;
• pressbutton(6)again;
• waitfortheperformingoftherinse
indicatedbytheashingofbutton
(6)LED.

Washing
Perform unit washing.
