ASSEMBLING THE UPPER HANDLE
1. Fix the upper handle using the bolts, washers and the locking knobs as shown in Fig. 2, and turn
the locking knobs clockwise to tighten (Fig. 2). The handle can be adjusted to 2 different height
positions.
2. Secure the control cable with the cable clips (Fig. 3).

INSTALLING/REMOVING THE GRASS COLLECTION BAG
NOTE: The safety ap is spring operated. Ensure you have a rm grip when opening and closing to avoid
personal injury.
NOTE: When using the grass collection bag, do not install the mulching plug. The mulching plug MUST be
removed prior to installing grass collection bag.
Installing the grass collection bag:
1. Lift the rear safety ap and hold it in position (Fig. 4).
2. Lift the grass collection bag by its handle, and align the rods of grass collection bag with the
notches under rear safety ap (Fig. 4).
3. Release the rear safety ap.
4. Make sure both rods are rmly seated on the notches and the safety ap rests rmly against the top
of the grass collection bag.
Mulching plug must be removed
prior to installing grass collection bag
