GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING
After release the throttle
lever, the trimmer head
rotates at idle.
Idle speed is too high. Adjust the engine.
Clutch spring is broken. Replace.
Clutch friction plate is
broken.
Replace.
The engine accelerates,
but the trimmer head does
not rotate.
Spline of the drive shaft or
the spline of the transmission
yoke is worn out.
Replace.
Irregular vibration.
The trimmer head is
imbalance.
Repair or replace.
The drive shaft is bent. Replace.
Worn bearings. Replace.
Clutch is off center. Replace.
