  If the line on your LawnMaster Trimmer isn't advancing, consider these possibilities: the line may be welded to itself, in which case you should lubricate it with silicone spray. You might also have insufficient cutting line, so install more line. If the line is worn too short, tap the trimmer head on the ground; if it still doesn't advance, turn off the trimmer and pull the lines while pressing down on and releasing the spool cover. Another reason could be that the line is tangled on the spool; remove the line and rewind it. Finally, make sure the engine speed isn't too slow by advancing the line at full throttle.

If the engine overheats, allow the engine to run at idle for 5 minutes. Then stop the trimmer and allow it to cool for about 20 minutes. If the spark arrestor screen is dirty, contact an authorized service dealer.

  If grass is wrapping around the drive shaft housing and trimmer head of your LawnMaster Trimmer, it could be due to cutting tall grass at ground level. Cut tall grass from the top down to prevent wrapping. Also, operating the trimmer at part throttle can cause this issue, so operate the trimmer at full throttle.
