Sanitation
Sanitation level is influenced by two factors:
1. Filter Cycle (filtration) time (your spa is designed to constantly filter
the water)
2. How much you use your spa each week
When using our recommended AquaClara Natural sanitation system
(see page 36), most sanitation problems are self resolved after two days.
Refer to the instructions in this kit for more information when other
problems arise.
Surface
The acrylic surface of your spa should be cleaned with our special All
Purpose Cleaner and thoroughly rinsed with warm (not cold) water
before refilling. (See also page 39.) Call our order line at 866.461.3123 to
order our special All Purpose Cleaner.
Warning: Cleaning your hot tub shell with petroleum-based,
hydrocarbon-based, or abrasive cleaners could craze,
crack, discolor, dull, or dissolve the acrylic surface and will
void your shell warranty. Use only the following cleaners
when cleaning your hot tub shell:
• Living Water Products All Purpose Cleaner
• Formula 409
®
• Glass Plus
®
• Mr. Clean
®
• Spic & Span
®
Powder
NEVER use paint solvents, acids, acetone, benzene,
lacquer thinner, tolulene, xylene, or similar chemicals to
clean your hot tub shell.
Water
Depending on usage, the water in your spa should be changed every 1-3
months. Upon each change of water it is a good practice to wipe down
your spa.
