- If the machine, at the end of operation, needs to be put in
the transport position, wait until all moving parts of the
machine have come to a complete standstill.
When folding up a machine that is still running, serious
damage may be done to the PTO shaft.
Also see chapter 3 “Transport”.
Should the cutter bar hit an obstacle during mowing, it can
move backward thanks to the extension of the breakback
device (fig. 10).
After extension of the breakback device: drive backwards a
few meters until the breakback device has locked back into
position.
6 DISMOUNTING FROM THE TRACTOR
- Lower the cutter bar.
- Switch off the tractor engine. Disengage the PTO shaft
from the tractor PTO.
- Place the PTO shaft in the hook (fig. 11).
- Set the parking jack in the lowest position.
- Lower the three point hitch until the parking jack is
supported by the ground.
- Depressurize the hydraulic system and disconnect the
hydraulic hose.
- Disengage the top link from the machine.
- Uncouple the lower arms from the machine.
