Maintenance
Air Filters
Do not operate system without a lter. A lter is required
to protect the coil, blower, and internal parts from
excessive dirt and dust.
 IMPORTANT
See unit position gures for location of lter in unit cabinet
and service panel giving access to unit lter.
Inspect air lters at least once a month and replace or
clean as required. Dirty lters are the most common cause
of inadequate heating or cooling performance. Replace
disposable lters. Washable lters can be cleaned by
soaking in mild detergent and rinsing with cold water.
Install new/clean lters with the arrows on the side pointing
in the direction of airow.
Never replace a washable (high velocity) lter with a
disposable (low velocity) lter unless return air system is
properly sized for it.
