8 -- Reinstall burner box and gas supply piping. Recon-
nect ignitor and flame sensor leads.
9 -- Carefully check all piping connections (factory and
field) for gas leaks. Use a leak det ecting solution or
other preferre d means.
10 --Restore electrical power and gas supply. Follow
lighting instructions on front of unit. Check burner
flame and adjust if necessary.
CAUTION
Some soaps used for leak detection are corrosive
to certain metals. Carefully rinse piping thorough-
ly after leak test has been completed. Do not use
matches, candles, flame or other sources of igni-
tion to check for gas leaks.
Heat Exchanger
NOTE--Use papers or protective covering in front of
furnace while cleaning furnace.
Due to dimples designed in the heatexchanger, clean-
ing is not recommended. Removal is for inspection
only.
Electrical
1 -- Check all wiring for loose connections.
2 -- Check for correct voltage at unit (unit operating).
3 -- Check amp--draw on blower motor.
