Why is water leaking from my Lennox Air Conditioner outdoor unit?
    • D
      Douglas BrownAug 20, 2025
Water leakage from the outdoor unit can be normal in certain situations. In high-humidity areas, condensate may form on the cold outdoor refrigerant pipes. Additionally, if your unit is a heat pump operating in defrost mode, ice will thaw from around the outdoor coil, causing water to flow from the unit. This is a part of the defrost cycle.

Why is my Lennox MS7 Air Conditioner wireless remote not working?
    • L
      Logan RogersAug 23, 2025
Make sure the remote is in direct line of sight with the indoor unit's infrared receiver, ensuring no obstructions are in the way. If the remote is damaged, it should be replaced. As an additional step, try removing the remote control batteries for 30 seconds, then reinsert them or replace them if necessary.

Why is my Lennox MS7 Air Conditioner system not cooling (or heating) efficiently?
    • A
      Angela AdamsAug 26, 2025
Several factors can cause inefficient cooling or heating. Ensure the temperature setting is correct and adjust it if needed. Check for and clear any blockages in the air inlets or outlets of both the outdoor and indoor units. A dirty air filter can also restrict airflow, so clean or replace it. If the fan speed is low, increase it. Finally, make sure all windows and doors are properly shut to prevent air leaks.

    • K
      Kathryn GonzalezAug 28, 2025

Why is my Lennox Air Conditioner indoor fan not working?
    • J
      James SmithAug 31, 2025
For heat pump units in HEAT mode, a timed delay keeps the indoor fan off for two minutes to prevent unheated air from being circulated. Wait for the delay to complete. Also in HEAT mode, cold outdoor temperatures and high humidity can cause frost to accumulate on the outdoor unit; this will resolve after the defrost cycle. In DEHUMIDIFICATION mode, indoor fan operation may be stopped to avoid delivery of moist air to the room; do not adjust the temperature setting.

Why does my Lennox Air Conditioner unit not operate immediately when restarted?
    • S
      Steven SellersSep 5, 2025
The unit control initiates a 3-minute delay at the end of each cycle to protect the compressor from damage. Wait for the unit to complete the 3-minute delay.

What does it mean if mist is coming out of my Lennox MS7 Air Conditioner indoor unit during cooling operation?
    • R
      Roy LeeSep 8, 2025
This can occur when the indoor temperature and humidity are very high and the air is being cooled quickly. The mist will disappear as the indoor temperature and humidity are lowered.

Why does my Lennox Air Conditioner make a creaking or popping noise when it starts or stops?

The plastic components of the indoor units sometimes expand and contract when they are heated and cooled. This is normal and not a cause for concern.
