6. Install the storage drive and the bracket.
7. Close the storage drive door and lock the latch.
8. Connect the signal cable and the power cable to the new storage drive.
9. Reinstall all removed parts. Then, reconnect the ac power adapter and all disconnected cables to the
computer.
Note: If a locking device is available, use it to lock the computer.
Storage drive (without door)
For models without storage drive door, please refer below replacement procedure to remove the storage
drive and storage drive bracket.
Replacement Procedure
1. Disconnect the signal cable and the power cable from the storage drive.
2. Remove the computer stand. See “Computer stand” on page 36.
3. Remove the computer cover. See “Computer cover” on page 38.
