Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
“Remove the lower case” on page 28
“Remove the solid-state drive (SSD) plate L” on page 29
Step 1. Remove the left SSD.

Step 2. Disconnect the CMOS battery cable from the system board and then remove the CMOS battery.
