YourcomputerhastwomemoryslotsforinstallingorreplacingDDR3SODIMMs(smalloutlinedualinline
memorymodules).Wheninstallingorreplacingamemorymodule,use1GB,2GBor4GBDDR3SODIMMs
inanycombinationuptoamaximumof8GBofsystemmemory.
Toinstallorreplaceamemorymodule,dothefollowing:
1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandthecomputer.Then,disconnect
allpowercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedtothecomputer.
2.Placeasoft,cleantowelorclothonthedeskorotheratsurface.Holdthesidesofyourcomputerand
gentlylayitdownsothatthescreenisagainstthesurfaceandthecoverisfacingup.
