Toreplacethefrontsystemfan1,dothefollowing:
1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandtheserver.Then,disconnectall
powercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedtotheserver.
2.Removetheservercover.See“Removingtheservercover”onpage67.
3.Locatethefrontsystemfan1.See“Servercomponents”onpage23.
4.Disconnectthefrontsystemfan1cablefromthesystemfan1connectoronthesystemboard.See
“Systemboardcomponents”onpage39
.
5.Pressthetwotabsofthefrontsystemfan1towardseachotheruntilthetwotips1arealignedwiththe
correspondingholesinthechassis.Then,carefullyslidethefrontsystemfan1outofthechassis.
