Toreplacethesystemboard,dothefollowing:
1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandtheserver.Then,disconnectall
powercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedtotheserver.
2.Removetheservercover.See“Removingtheservercover”onpage67.
3.Laytheserveronitssideforeasieroperation.
4.Recordthecomponentlocations,cableconnections,andcableroutingintheserver.
5.RemoveallmemorymodulesandPCIcards(includingtheEthernetcardandRAIDcard)thatare
currentlyinstalled.See“Removingamemorymodule”onpage77

6.Removetheheatsinkandfanassemblyandplaceitonaclean,flat,andstatic-protectivesurface.See
