• Chock the tires as the vehicle may roll once the parking brake is manually
released.
• Open the trunk and remove the parking brake release tool and screwdriver handle
from the tool kit.
• The access hole to release the parking brake mechanism is in rear of the center
console area between the seat backs
• Hold both sides of the bottom edge of the cover and lift to remove
• The access hole is between the two control modules under the cover
• Insert the tool until it bottoms out
