■ Parallel parking
● Parallel parking assist mode

This mode assists the driver
during parallel parking by
automatically controlling the
steering wheel to move the
vehicle into the target posi-
tion set on the screen.
■ APGS pre-support switch
Use this switch to turn on/off the pre-support function and to switch
assist mode between parallel parking assist mode and perpendicu-
lar parking assist mode.
Pressing the pre-support switch
while assist mode is on, the
“ENGINE START STOP”
switch is in IGNITION ON
mode and the vehicle is travel-
ing below 9 mph (15 km/h) with
the shift position in any position
other than “P” or “R”, will cause
the screen to change in the fol-
lowing order:
Pre-support function OFF Parallel parking assist mode pre-sup-
port screen Perpendicular parking assist mode pre-support
screen Pre-support function OFF
If the pre-support function cannot be used, two beeps will sound
(the beeps will not sound if the shift lever is in the “R” position).
