3.7 Mounting Accessories
C- and CC-type pumps only show a detachable cover on the housing lid.
For mounting a RUVAC remove this cover first, and then the lid. With this
modification the transport block does not have to be removed.

3.7.1 Roots Pump Adapter
The adapter serves as a connecting component when fitting a RUVAC onto
the LV models. The use of other pump types or other connection compo-
nents is not permissible. The adapter for the RUVAC weighs approximately
6kg.
Before the adapter can be mounted the stainless steel pump inlet must be
removed. Keep this gasket and the 4 screws for re-use. The RUVAC adapter
comes with 4 substitute screws; the RUVAC comes completely with bolts,
washers, nuts and gasket.
