What to do if no image appears on my LG Monitor?

  First, ensure the power cord is securely connected to the power outlet and that the monitor's power button is pressed. If the monitor displays 'NO SIGNAL' after being turned on, verify the signal cable between your PC and the monitor is properly connected. If the monitor is in DPM mode with the power LED off, press the DC button twice to wake the screen. Also, this message appears when the signal from the PC (video card) is out of horizontal or vertical frequency range of the display. See the 'Specifications' section of this manual and configure your display again. Finally, make sure the OSD controls are unlocked by entering the OSD lock menu and setting the items to 'off'.

  An incorrect display image on your LG Monitor can stem from several factors. First, check that the signal cable is properly connected, tightening it with a screwdriver if needed. Ensure your video card is correctly inserted into its slot. Adjust the color setting to higher than 24 bits (true color) via Control Panel settings. Also, verify the screen isn't set to interlace mode; if it is, change it to the recommended resolution. Be sure to install the latest display driver and confirm your video card supports Plug&Play function.
