4. Roaming
4.1 Set Mode
Choose from three different settings on your dual- band/tri-
mode phone to control your roaming experience.
To set your phone’s roam mode:
1. Press Left Soft Key Menu, scroll to Settings, and
press .
2. Scroll to Roaming and press .
3. Scroll to Set Mode and press .
4. To select an option, highlight it and press .

Home Only Searches only the Network and prevents
roaming.
●
Analog Only Searches only Analog(AMPS)
Network.
●
Analog Home Only Searches only Analog Network.
●
Automatic Mode Searches for alternate wireless
networks when the Service is not available.
●
Digital Only Searches only Digital(CDMA) Network.
5. Location
The Location feature allows the network to detect your
position. Turning Location off will hide your location from
everyone except 911.

Even if the Location feature is enabled, no service
may use your location without your express
permission.
1. Press Left Soft Key Menu, scroll to Settings, and
press .
2. Scroll to Location and press .
3. Scroll to Set Mode and press .(The Location
disclaimer displays.)
4. Read the disclaimer and press .
5. Select On or Off press .
When the Location feature is on, your phone’s standby
screen will display the icon. When Location is turned
off, the icon will display.
