Using Phone Menus
8.1 Lock Phone
Keeps your phone from unauthorized use. Once the phone
is locked, it is in restricted mode until the lock code is
entered. You can receive phone calls and still make
emergency calls.
You can modify the lock code using the New Lock code
within the Security menu.
1. Press Left Soft Key Menu, scroll to Settings, and
press .

From the Security menu, scroll to Lock Phone and press .
3.
Highlight Unlock, Lock now, or On Power Up, and press .
8.2 Lock Pictures
1. Press Left Soft Key Menu, scroll to Settings, and
press .
2. From the Security menu, scroll to Lock Pictures and
press .
3. Highlight Unlock or Lock now and press .
8.3 Change Lock
Allows you to enter a new four-digit lock code.
1. Press Left Soft Key Menu, scroll to Settings, and
press .
2. From the Security menu, scroll to Change Lock and
press .
3. Enter your new lock code.
4. Re-enter your new lock code.
8.4 Auto Key Guard
Allows you to determine the start time to guard the key in
slide close state.
1. Press Left Soft Key Menu, scroll to Settings, and
press .
2.
From the Security menu, scroll to Auto Key Guard and press
.(A brief explanation of Auto Key Guard will display.)
3. Press again to continue.
4. Select Immediately, 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 30
seconds, 1 minute, or Off and press .
8.5 Special #
1. Press Left Soft Key Menu, scroll to Settings, and
press .
2. From the Security menu, scroll to Special # and press
.
3. Select a location for your entry and press .
4. Enter the number and press .
